упомянутый FM 3-06 говорит совсем другие вещи (по крайней мере в части наступательных операций в городе). Я не знаю, может уважаемому Алеку что-то не то перевели?
Ecли совсем коротко то смысл такой - 3 вида операций: 1)Shaping operations - в городе это в основном изоляция ключевых точек, нащупывание слабых мест в обороне или захват первого плацдарма на окраине для дальнейшего продвижения вглубь ;
2)Decisive operations - собственно захват ключевых точек;
3)Sustaining operations - удержание коммуникаций.
Никаких "встряхиваний" я если честно там не нашел. Наоборот, подчеркивается важность быстрых и решительных наступательных действий.Хай-тек типа JDAMов и перехват переговоров это хорошо но назвать их решающим фактором никак нельзя. Вообще мое личное мнение ничего сверхъестественного там не написано, думаю Берлин брали более или менее также.
Вот, например выдержки из сборника Tip of the Spear, глава про второй штурм Фаллуджи:
The marines and soldiers expected to meet stiff resistance since the
insurgents had been preparing for a rematch for several months. Equipped with
small arms, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), and machine guns, the enemy
typically operated in groups of four to twelve men with minimal coordination.
They customarily fought from inside buildings rather than in the street, gaining
some protection against the heavier weapons American troops brought into
the fight. Lacking night vision equipment, they tended to operate during the
day but also used the supposed cover of darkness to reposition, resupply, or
take potshots at Coalition forces. The latter tactic would prove suicidal given
U.S. dominance of the night.
...The Army task force pulled back for a quick refuel and resupply then
conducted a passage of lines with the adjacent Marine battalion to assault south
in that zone. By now, the soldiers had refined their tactics based on experience
and they moved rapidly but methodically in a style reminiscent of a World
War I attack. They liberally used air support and artillery and kept shifting it
ahead of them as they progressed, a form of walking barrage that a doughboy
would have instantly recognized, except for the speed of the advance. The tanks
followed close behind the artillery, using their main guns against any remaining
resistance. The Bradleys came next, then the engineers. After all that firepower,
the soldiers met no opposition when they searched the buildings that were
still standing.
