According to Sharp's 'Soviet Order of Battle', the 7th Mechanized Corps went into STAVKA Reserve in February 1945 and came out again in April 1945 to become part of 1st Guards Cavalry-Mechanized Group. It ended the war in May 1945 near Brno, north of Vienna.
