There were probably more than two N.I. Buhanovas among 150.000.000 citizens of the Soviet Union.
Pilawskii's Bukhanova was born in 1917 in Novosibirsk and she died in 1961. She was a paint shop worker and she supposedly invented some non-standard camouflage schemes.
IMHO,Pilawskii made up entire story. It's fiction - a big lie. Can anybody confirm this?
