Кстати, смысл словосочетания "according to Hoyle" означает - следовать правилам. Хойл это автор 17 века, написавший книгу о правилах игры в карты.
А точное значение выражения "I keep him in cokes" никто из моих знакомых не знает...Наверное, судя по контексту, что то вроде "держу его довольным"
