примечание: He made an emergency landing in his K-4 on 22 February, 1945 due to engine damage, pilot OK, no location reported. Shot down in a 2nd "Yellow 7" in the Pirmasens area during aerial combat with a P-47 on 1 January, 1945, pilot OK after a crash landing. Shot down in "Yellow 6" by Spitfires on 23 April, 1944, bailed safely, pilot OK. Shot down with wounds in "Yellow 7" during aerial combat with a P-51 by Bleckede on 6 August, 1944. Belly landed his G-14 near Paderborn after combat damage, pilot OK. Survived the war, living in Wittenhagen. Jager Blatt 6/2004 & 1/2005.

примечание: POW 15 November, 1940; Failed to return from his 13th mission in the Selsey Bill area. Shot down with serious wounds and burns by F/Sgt John Glendenning (KIA 3/12/41) of RAF No. 74 Sq.. Despite his wounds and burns, he bailed safely while the AC crashed in shallow water off Felpham, Sussex. Remained a British POW until repatriation in 1944, in exchange for seriously wounded British POW's. Another source says the date he became a POW was September 15th.
