Весна 1911 - воздушная бомбардировка?


Another Moisant alumnus, Captain John Hector Worden, undertook aerial bombardment missions. While flying observation sorties for the Díaz government, he occasionally made opportunistic bomb attacks, dropping munitions (usually homemade pipe bombs) from the cockpit against rebel forces that were in the process of destrying railroad lines.

Вот, это уже интереснее. Но я читал когда-то и где-то, что первыми, кто швырял опасную хрень с самолётов во врага, были испанцы в ходе второй рифской войны: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Melillan_campaign Но искать уже лень.

Проблема в том, что не могу найти потверждения в других источниках.

А Википедия? Написано, что первый самолет Фармана прибыл в Испанию

в феврале 1911 года.
