Dear Forum,
I hope it's all right if I ask in English – I understand some Russian but don't actively speak it well enough for my purpose. Please feel free to answer in your native language, if you like.
I am looking for sources on the conquest of Berlin-Tempelhof, both the airport and the city district, in April 1945, and on the units involved (8-я гвардейская армия and 1-я гвардейская танковая армия). It seems there hasn't been written a lot about those topics, or I simply cannot find it. Do you know any books, memoires, eyewitness accounts that might be of use to me?
