Да, и поскольку я, конечно, догадываюсь, что имелось в виду, добавлю ещё немного Ландстрёма:
A lull descending over the Hiei drama beginning about 1215. United States sources show that six waves of twenty-one dive bombers (four hits), one TBF with bombs, fourteen B-17s(one hit), twenty-five torpedo planes (eight hits according to 1st MAW), thirty-five fighters and an unknown number of P-39s had assailed battleship. Between 0730 and 1230, the Japanese had counted some sixty enemy planes which scored a total of three bomb hits and numerous near misses, but no torpedo hits. Exploding on contact, the heavy bombs had wreacked havoc with Hiei's tender superstructure, while close misses inflicted underwater hull damage (with three boilers knocked out of service) and a slight list to port. Yet her crew made real progress repairing the damage aft to regain steering control anf contained fires still raging forward of the foremast.
То есть - вкратце, в соответствии с правилами)) - двадцать пять торпедоносцев ни разу в Хиэй не попали. И говорить, что попадания в седьмой атаке были обязательными и неизбежными, можно даже не начинать. Не были.
